Typography Posters

For this project, we designed two visually inventive posters that communicate key information about typography, including the typeface, the designer, the era in which each typeface was created, and its visual syntax. The goal was to present this information clearly while exploring creative composition and typographic hierarchy. I chose Futura and Avenir because they are my favorite typefaces and are both sans serif fonts known for their clean, modern forms. I began by creating sketches for each poster to explore layout, structure, and visual flow. These sketches guided the development of my final designs. The final two posters translate my initial ideas into polished compositions that highlight the history, characteristics, and visual language of each typeface.
